Resumo
Considering education a service and guidance as a process, it is possible to affirm that the sequence of activities developed is not always visible, since it comprises a set of actions involving techniques, methods, instruments and people with the purpose of generating meanings and knowledge for those who execute them. Orientation is part of the academic life the process of student orientation for the elaboration of organizational diagnosis seeks to associate theoretical knowledge with application in real situations so that, in this way, they can understand to diagnose problems, analyze and suggest improvements to the administrative problems found in companies researched. The purpose of this research was to establish actions to improve the orientation process for the elaboration of an organizational diagnosis, based on the understanding of the activities and tasks performed identification of weaknesses, application of possible improvements, controls and indicators that allows to measure performance and evaluation in the results of the process in the students perception. The methodology used was of a qualitative nature, with a single and quantitative case study for using statistical instruments, both in the collection and in the data treatment. The population studied was composed of students of the administration course of a Private Higher Education Institution, enrolled in the Organizational Diagnostic discipline in the second semester of two thousand and sixteen. The sample used was non-probabilistic for convenience. For the qualitative research, we used information from documentary sources, discipline control worksheets and process records, and for quantitative research, two questionnaires were applied, the first at the beginning of the research to investigate students' reactions to the activities and tasks developed for diagnosis, the second was applied at the end of the semester. From the identification of weaknesses in the process, actions of improvements, controls and personalized indicators were implemented to evaluate the process in the students' perception. With regard to the results achieved in the research with the students, the administrative capacity of organization was detected to achieve goals with maximum results and the minimum resources, energy used, time used and the rhythm used to carry out the activities And tasks and also, the aggregation of value for the formation of the student. The degree of agreement obtained percentage above 80% with the actions of improvements implanted in the process of orientation for elaboration of organizational diagnosis.
