Resumo

Manaus for 60 years, began to harbor industrial production chains arising from around the world and it has attracted people from all over Brazil, and why not the world in search of opportunity. This new reality, especially marked by demographic expansion was accompanied by local artistic production. The music became such times, in Manaus, increasingly diverse, especially on the effects of migration, cinema, radio and later television. Then arises, in 60 years, the first manifestations of a song that followed the new trends of music in Brazil, such as bossa nova and Tropicalia movement. One of the main characteristics of this type of music was the interest in talking through the lyrics, themes that portrayed the city, the lifestyle of people, daily life, nature, social change and others that not only remitted the image of City and State of Amazonas and the Amazon region. This kind of musical art produced in Manaus expresses the position of artists and critical thinking to the changes undertaken in the city. These changes that cause a counterintuitive behavior of the population between the younger and inaugurate a series never perceived social problems. By taking the lyrics of these songs and combining them to reach back scenarios and socio-cultural life of a city under changing look of young artists who lived in the city and were inspired to compose their songs .It s interesting to note that fifty years later, this song continues to be produced, appreciated, updated, broadcast media and the cultural circuit of the city. What it suggests is not only associated to a time, but a way of making music of a generation of musicians. The city of Manaus even records the dynamics of a growing city and transformation, and the music continues in his lyrics thematizing issues related to these processes. In tones of irony and criticism, and the new realitiesin context.
