Resumo

This thesis is an investigation representing reflections about the public politics for the eradication of child labor in Tabatinga municipal district/AM, located in the triple Amazon frontier, Tabatinga/Brazil, Leticia/Colombia and Santa Rosa/Peru. Disregarding the ethnic, multicultural and territorial aspects involved during its proceeding, it intends to suggest answers to suppress the opportune ceaseless durability of such activity against human rights. The reason for this topic was selected was because it is a very common and recurring subject in the research area. This investigation intended to seek knowledge on institutional actions that had been developed to reach any result from the public politics for the eradication of child labor in Tabatinga municipal district, in triple Amazon frontier – Brazil, Colombia and Peru, considering the relevance of a “frontier” conditional factor – in its political dimensions of international relations among the three countries and, in view of ethno cultural aspects from the indigenous children – in consideration of this topic about child labor and its eradication public politics, as complementary data to other accomplished works by many other authors (DI GIOVANI, 2004; KASSOUF, 2004; KUMMEL, 2010; MARQUES, 2001 apud OLIVEIRA, 2014) who have analyzed the causes of child labor seen from the point of view of economic inequality and/or family settings, in which a missing provider, generally the main male figure is the one who brings with himself, consequently, poverty and necessity of his child to be into the labor market. Either formally or in an informal way, just in guarantee of any family financial gain and, in other cases, the child becomes their main support. This research has unpublished results as relevant content due to the lack of other debates, conclusions and actions according to the proposed topic in this thesis. Many aspects have been included in this dissertation, based on the comprehension points that these studies are about eradication politics against child labor in Tabatinga’s contexts, and it relates with ethno cultural aspects together with the interdisciplinarity involved, like: history, economy, laws, sociology, geopolitics, international relations, public politics and politic. Therefore, with this dissertative material, questions like knowing how childhood in Tabatinga’s contexts is lived within the triple Amazon boarder area and understand its features; it is identified in an amazon child, the composing personality elements of who lives in the triple Amazon boarder, it was also identified the public politics against child labor that are applied and the local contemplations about the present topic, in terms of cooperation and/or assistance, inside the relations among Brazil, Colombia and Peru; in this present article is also emphasized the social and cultural visions that make the indigenous child as a “symbolic frontier” in the face of public politics for the child labor and its eradication in the municipal district, having in consideration the ethno cultural profile from the indigenous children.
