Resumo
This thesis is an investigation representing reflections about the public politics for the
eradication of child labor in Tabatinga municipal district/AM, located in the triple Amazon
frontier, Tabatinga/Brazil, Leticia/Colombia and Santa Rosa/Peru. Disregarding the ethnic,
multicultural and territorial aspects involved during its proceeding, it intends to suggest
answers to suppress the opportune ceaseless durability of such activity against human rights.
The reason for this topic was selected was because it is a very common and recurring subject
in the research area. This investigation intended to seek knowledge on institutional actions
that had been developed to reach any result from the public politics for the eradication of
child labor in Tabatinga municipal district, in triple Amazon frontier – Brazil, Colombia and
Peru, considering the relevance of a “frontier” conditional factor – in its political dimensions
of international relations among the three countries and, in view of ethno cultural aspects from
the indigenous children – in consideration of this topic about child labor and its eradication
public politics, as complementary data to other accomplished works by many other authors
(DI GIOVANI, 2004; KASSOUF, 2004; KUMMEL, 2010; MARQUES, 2001 apud
OLIVEIRA, 2014) who have analyzed the causes of child labor seen from the point of view of
economic inequality and/or family settings, in which a missing provider, generally the main
male figure is the one who brings with himself, consequently, poverty and necessity of his
child to be into the labor market. Either formally or in an informal way, just in guarantee of
any family financial gain and, in other cases, the child becomes their main support. This
research has unpublished results as relevant content due to the lack of other debates,
conclusions and actions according to the proposed topic in this thesis. Many aspects have
been included in this dissertation, based on the comprehension points that these studies are
about eradication politics against child labor in Tabatinga’s contexts, and it relates with ethno
cultural aspects together with the interdisciplinarity involved, like: history, economy, laws,
sociology, geopolitics, international relations, public politics and politic. Therefore, with this
dissertative material, questions like knowing how childhood in Tabatinga’s contexts is lived

amazon child, the composing personality elements of who lives in the triple Amazon boarder,
it was also identified the public politics against child labor that are applied and the local
contemplations about the present topic, in terms of cooperation and/or assistance, inside the
