Resistência cultural pela fé: uma análise folkcomunicacional do "Corpo Santo"

Abstract

The research deals with communication processes that involve the phenomenon "Corpo Santo", a manifestation of popular religiosity observed in the countryside of the municipality of Coari / AM. For its main approach, we opted for the bias of Folkcommunication, a theory that seeks to understand how cultural and communication practices and manifestations are processed, linked to the daily life of the so-called popular social strata, considering aspects of habitual life, physical, symbolic and imaginary spaces. On the basis of this, this work combines specific contributions of Sociology and Anthropology, in order to surround its object of study (the "Holy Body") in a complex and intelligible dialogical web. As a methodology, oral history was used in order to penetrate more deeply into the intersubjectivities of the social actors involved: norms, values, criteria, sensations, feelings, thus visualizing a greater understanding of the constitution of its communicational instruments in the face of its expressiveness religious partner.
