A poética do exílio em Murro em ponta de faca de Augusto Boal

Abstract

This Master's Dissertation is the result of a series of interventions and observations made within the theater. The choice of the text "Murro" in Augusta Boal's Knife Tip as an object of study was another challenge, since the various texts and techniques left by Agusto Boal are extremely important not only for research but also for the discovery of new techniques. The text under study can be understood as a denunciation or as a criticism of a dictatorial period, where several Brazilians were exiled outside their homeland, the motives were as diverse as possible, but we turned to the political moment in which society lived in the seventies and eighties. Augusto Boal was unable to work, discuss and interpret, taking his reflections and his techniques to Brazil and the various countries where he spent in exile. This work was divided into three chapters, and the first chapter was titled: The Poetics of Augusto Boal, where we plan on what was the theater of the oppressed? The politics and ideology in the theater of Augusto Boal and read and see Augusto Boal today. It is a chapter where we detail the life of Augusto Boal, about his commitment to theater and social struggles. The second chapter, we detail the poetics of exile, its form and its contents directed to the text Murro in Ponta de Faca (1978), a presentation. Space, and time in the work Murro in Ponta de Faca. Another topic on Character Analysis: Brazilian Social Exile in Exile and ending with Identity and Change. This moment is marked by the movement of the characters, since each character in the play emphasizes the causes and consequences of the Exile. The third chapter is marked by Augusto Boal Post-Exile and his theatrical practice; Amnesty and theater; The memory of the exile and The importance of Augusto Boal today. In this way, we affirm our commitment to society, since from the elucidation of this work, we are convinced of its contribution and of reflections for Brazilian society.
