Interdisciplinaridade, estudo didático para a aprendizagem de função quadrática no Ensino Médio

Resumo

In reality learning mathematics is not an easy task, but it is necessary to create ways to innovate teaching by showing the real importance of this area of knowledge in everyday life. Based on the teaching experience, it was observed that students have difficulties in assimilating and associating mathematical content with their daily lives. Therefore, this research aims to verify that the interdisciplinary relationship in the Teaching and Learning Process of Mathematics in High School, favors the assimilation and contextualization of the Square Function content in other areas of knowledge. This research is based on Ausubel's Theory of Meaningful Learning and the conceptions of Interdisciplinarity by Hilton Japiassu and Ivani Fazenda. A qualitative approach methodology was adopted to conduct a Case Study in an educational institution located in the city of Manaus - AM, with a sample of high school students; taking as instruments for data collection, questionnaires, semi-structured interviews and participant observation, seeking to develop interdisciplinarity from the Quadratic Function content with the disciplines of Biology, Physics and Chemistry through problem solving. The proposal is to make learning meaningful to the student, contextualizing the content to facilitate understanding and motivate the student to learn.
