Abstract

Discussions related to violence against women have grown in recent years as a result of feminist movements and the promulgation of the 11. 340/2006 - Maria da Penha’ s law. But it is relatively new the discussion about domestic violence to Christian women, taking under consideration the conduct parameters established by the church and the lack of a theology aimed at coping with this problem. This study aimed to understand how Adventist women deal with marital violence taking into consideration the Project breaking the silence.
