Resumo
This research objective was to analyze the language conception s, such as language as itself and grammar related to the literacy teachers and the impli cations in the concept of the literacy process. From the point that we understand that for each literacy conception there is a grammar conception, as a consequence, a learning process, we analyze five teachers deposition and 25 students deposition from the 3rd year of the 1st cycle in a Municipal School on Manaus suburbs. We observe the practices developed in the teaching rooms and we analyze the Portuguese Language curricular grade, inside the Peda gogical Cycle Proposal of Human Degree of Manaus SEMED. We conclude that the teachers only recognize the language as itself and the Grammar as a learned standard. Some students said they feel bored with their mother language. The Pedagogical Cycle Proposal nominated the text as an agglutination element of the linguistics knowledge, presents on read and write actions but made some distortions on prioritize the traditional grammar rules as a competency to be achieved by the students.
