Estimativa do potencial de conservação de energia elétrica no setor residencial de Manaus a partir da avaliação da qualidade da energia

Abstract

This work aims a study of electricity supplied to residential customers of the city of Manaus, state of Amazonas. The paper deals with two topics in the field of electrical energy: energy conservation and power quality, aiming to estimate the power that can save after the identification of disorders that affect the quality of energy. For this case study, we selected three residential consumers with different load profiles from which data were collected regarding the quality of the energy used in those homes with the aid of a power quality analyzer. Based on the Procedures for Electric Energy Distribution of ANEEL, which sets minimum requirements for power quality (voltage and frequency) are compared the results of the evaluation in select consumers, where the point of view of the network voltage and frequency levels minimum set by ANEEL are met. However, they are observed significant levels of harmonic currents in the consumer study. Finally, it shows the impact of these distortions in increased consumption and the estimation of energy conservation in the residential sector extracting the losses by current harmonic distortion
