Governança da cadeia produtiva do Curauá, no oeste paraense, sob perspectiva do Monopsônio

Abstract

The goal of this research is to unravel the State of governance between business relations in the production chain of Curauá; notably between the links in the household production and company link monopsonista fiber processor, situated in the West of Pará. This refers specifically: Exploring the predominant form of contract in respect of the marketing of fiber Curauá between production family and company monopsonista; Identify the determinant commercial governance; Knowing the social implications on families living Curauá production in a relationship of subordination of a monopsonista; Estimating the company's marketing margin monopsonista and Mark-up of Curauá fibres producers. In order to investigate the problem of the search was carried out bibliographical allowing an understanding of the principal themes referenced and, a search field, where it was applied questionnaire interview with half-open questions to producers and the company monopsonista. The field research focused precípuo know the environment in the marketing of fiber Curauá and structure of the production chain. Were collected information on non-governmental and governmental institutions. The use of functionalist allowed developing an analysis of trade relations between producer and buyer monopsonista fiber. The data you have provided input to the study were of primary and secondary sources. The search covered the local production of Curauá municipalities of Juruti, Santarém and Belterra in the West of Pará State, respectively the communities of Grand Lake, St. Benedict and Curuai Chibé. This study defines that the establishment of interrelated rules can ensure the integrity of the business of fiber Curauá. Governance in chain implies a market with efficient economic agreements. Incorporate the economic analysis is relevant to the institutional environment, especially when it comes to organizations, since the functioning of the economic system receives influence institutions. It is therefore imperative, the formation of a coordination that determine business rules, which causes an increase in production and at the same time create mechanisms of punishment to agents that eventually cease to comply with the agreements, this should help to mitigate the losses of surpluses of fiber. The absence of data on the costs of production restricts the possibility of competition, as soon as the producer of Curauá cannot but will find them, because it is a much needed tool in outline of decisions seeking business success. It is concluded that this study contributes to increase the visibility of environment where spans the commercialization of the fiber, in western Pará Curauá. We believe that relations between agents may take a new direction if developed a governance for valuation and strengthening of the productive chain of Curauá in the region.
