Resumo
Studies about Afro-Brazilian culture were established by law 10.639/2003 that is included in the official curriculum of the Brazilian schools, for that reason all studies about it are very important to Brazilian education, considering that black people are one of the base of this nation and also a significant labour force to the development. In the Amazonas the presence of black people is considered unimpressive if it is compared with other regions of the country. The aim of this paper was to analyse the speechs of urban land Quilombo, descendents of slaves who lived in the Barranco Community of St. Benedict, in Manaus - Amazonas. The specific goals were investigate the way of black people in the North and to know about the linguistics straight lines from their antecessors. The methodology adopted was the Sociolinguistic interviews which collecting narratives from personal narratives’ community. The narratives were being done with foms and questionnaries as a guide to provoke personal speches. The residents of this community are certified as remainders Quilombo from a slave who came from Maranhão, in Brazil. When it refers to Barranco Community it presents the remainders and descendents historylife: grandsons and great-grandson looking for living in freedom. The theoretical framework is based on Reis e Silva (1989), Ituassú (1991), Reis (2003), Arruti (2006), Santos (2009), Funes (2009), Sampaio (2011), Melo (2012), Santos e Souza (2013) e Cavalcante (2015) who discuss the way of black people in the Amazon as well the oral narratives as continued elements from speech communities’ memories based in: Vansina (1965), Labov, Waletzy (1967), Labov (1972, 2009), Halbwachs (1990), Bruner (1991), Moita Lopes (2001), Hall (2006), Barthes et.al (2008), Ferreira Netto (2008), Oliveira (2015). This aim was to comprehend and interpret behaviors, opinions and all the expectations of a population, analyzing oral narratives as elements of a continuation from the memory’s community strategy of developing for what reason strategy of development of human’s thought and also its formation’s identity. The results indicated that were principles whose guide the absence of linguistics straight lines from their antecessors in the descendents’ speechs of urban land Quilombo. It was also highlighted that the descendentes move toward people who are scholars from urban areas, enriching the cultured norm in the way of their speech, whose speech they hadn´t gotten from their antecessors. At the end of the work, we suggest new possibilities from this research and suggestions of future studies on the subject.
