Resumo
This research is located in the field of Applied Linguistics (LA) and its general objective is to reflect on the news genre as a motivating factor for the discursive discourse-argumentative text, evidencing the written production of high school students. To this end, the specific objectives were (1) to investigate how the news genre can favor the argumentative domain in students' written production practices; (2) elaborate, test and present a didactic sequence model centered on the journalistic news genre that helps in the improvement of the written production of essay-argumentative texts by basic education students, (3) analyze the students' written constructions as an active responsive attitude. As a theoretical basis, this work is based on Bakhtin ([1950] 2011), Dolz, Noverraz and Schneuwly (2004); Geraldi (2013); Lage (2001), Traquina (2005), Rodrigues (2001). As this is a qualitative-interpretative research, characterized as action research, we will guide the methodological framework in Chizzotti (2000) and Gil (2008). The data were generated in a school in the municipality of Parintins belonging to the Education and Quality of Education Department of Amazonas/SEDUC-AM. The participants of this research were students of a class of the 2nd year of High School, who produced written texts for analysis of this research, in a comprehensive-responsive perspective through the News. This work presents results with the development of written production practices in a dialogical approach, which highlight the positions based on information of the news genre that awoke to a provocation of the active-responsive argumentative construction and citizen intervention of these young authors.
