Saberes ambientais e o modo de vida indígena Baniwa: o calendário etnoagroecológico aplicado ao ensino das ciências ambientais na Comunidade Itacoatiara- Mirim São Gabriel da Cachoeira – AM

Abstract

The aforementioned research, for now exposed here, was developed in the Itacoatiara Mirim Community, located on the Comenius-BR 307 road, 11 km from the seat of the municipality of São Gabriel da Cachoeira, Amazonas. The shared territory allows the 6 peoples residing in the community, a diversity of experiences and exchange of knowledge expressed in their daily ways of life and practical organization, collaborating for a common life lived in spaces consisting of symbolic representations, such as the built maloca to carry out large cultural ceremonies, contributing to a process of recovery of traditions and as an identity mark for the indigenous movement as the main reference to keep culture alive in the community. approach the objective: To understand the way of life in the sociocultural and agro- environmental dimension of existing ethnic groups in the Itacoatiara Mirim Community

from the perception of their traditional knowledge, thus strengthening the local educational context, through the exchange of knowledge and generation of ethnodidactic materials according to the local indigenous culture. Therefore, this research was structured following the following paths, which, through the analysis and interpretation of the results, resulted in three place composed from the specific objectives proposed. Finally, this research originated an educational product entitled “Traditional knowledge Baniwas”.
