Resumo
Nominees for this colonial space, the literati had to learn the limits of its own offices
and its functions as articulators of royal power with vassals. And these processes is built
the practice of ombudsman positions and general superintendent. Installation of Justice,
its main procedures, are the implementation of the Portuguese presence and its signs by
the king's judges. The transformation of the Indians vassals d'el Portuguese king and
installation of the royal administration, its other administrative and bureaucratic cadres
were sets and synchronous efforts. We understand that it is through the daily experience
that the norm was rebuilt to be applied in the various villages of the Province of São
José do Rio Negro, and are the ombudsmen big stage this activity. Their duties and legal
requirements the behaved as responsible for the application and adaptation, lay on
between the "traditional" practices and the Ordinances and royal orders was exercising
balance between the colonial and the Crown. Harmonize through the resource adequacy
was employed by Lourenço Pereira da Costa and António José Pestana and Silva were
as general ombudsmen, general stewards of agriculture, trade and manufacturing and
real estate providers of São José do Rio Negro, 1760 at 1767 and 1767 at 1773. The
district court of São José do Rio Negro was a process in traffic, which was to be
implemented by these graduates of the king.
