Íntima fuligem: a morte como transição

Abstract

This essay has as an object of analysis three specific parts of the work Íntima Fuligem: caverna e clareira (2017) by Astrid Cabral. In them, the thematic recurrence of death and its progression was analyzed. For this research paper, as theoreticals support it has been chosen: Ernest Becker, Sigmund Freud, Zygmunt Bauman for understanding what death and life represent. Mircea Eliade to understand the symbologies surrounding death as a rite of passage. Gaston Bachelard to analyze the symbologies of the spaces occupied by the lyrical self and how they represent and assist in their understanding the conception of death. Henri Bergson to understand the relationship of simultaneity between present and past. After analyzing the recurrence of the theme, it was possible to verify the evolution of the initial and final conception.
