Resumo
The culture of jute and mallow is presented as an alternative that can contribute to the implementation of a sustainable agricultural model for traditional Amazonian populations. The cultivation of these fibers is of fundamental socio-economic importance to the state of Amazonas, because it adds a considerable number of people involved in their activities coming from seed production to the manufacture and sale of manufactured, generating income for coastal communities in the state . The study aimed to carry out systemic analysis of mauve culture: A comparative study in the communities Our Lady of Grace and Mount Zion in the city of Manacapuru - AM. The study was descriptive and exploratory, and aimed to describe the characteristics of a given population or phenomenon or establishing relationships between variables. The information was obtained through the application forms, the sample was performed to characterize the socioeconomic aspects of the population of rural farmers. Were interviewed social actors focus of research, which are and have been linked to the production of mauve culture process. Regarding the systemic aspects of mauve of the production chain, with regard to seeds, these are from the municipalities of Irituia, Oriquém and Captain Well in the state of Pará. Finally the sustainability of mauve of the production chain from one aspect Systemic involving soft-systems vision and hard-systems, we must consider the various local and institutional actors working jointly, visualizing the entire system without fragmenting the chain parts, that could significantly contribute to boosting the fiber chain because we would have a global view (input and output), and the dimensions of its bounds and factors, which would allow to build and execute proposals that could really make this sustainable chain.
