Resumo
The research aimed to analyze the teacher's role as a mediator in the process of
teaching and learning in multi-functional resource room trying to establish how does
the application of alternative communication in this process. We had as a research
problem to search the way place to pedagogical practices in the multifunctional room
features establishing the relationship with alternative communication. This is a
qualitative research with a theoretical basis the historical-cultural approach because
we believe that the pedagogical practices involving alternative communication can be
resignified through mediating teaching practices which enable the constitution of the
subject through the experiences with each other, thereby making it possible to build a
differentiated pedagogical proposal in the multifunction capabilities room, promoting
the interaction of the subject with the environment. We chose the case study method
was to data collection instruments semi-structured interview and observation of
teaching action, considering the mediation of the teacher through the applicability of
alternative communication resources. For the structuring of data analysis organize
the information gathered in two main areas, which are: the first being the meanings of
teaching activities and the teacher and the reframing of teaching activities ; and the
second axis addressed procedures for the applicability of alternative communication
resources and the resources used by the teacher. Studies have shown that although
the pedagogical practices occur through the teaching mediation, with the help of
alternative communication resources , low-tech , there is much to be done to improve
the conditions of specialized educational services , since this practice is adequate
teacher training so that they can expand their knowledge of alternative
communication systems to go beyond what you have done with dedication , enriching
their educational performance , the multi-functional features, in service to private
students, partial or definitive speech.
