Resumo
This work proposes the application of the Balanced Scorecard as a strategic management tool in the Prefecture of the Federal University of Amazonas. It is a tool that translates the vision into goals and performance measures from four perspectives: financial, customer, internal processes and learning and growth, which are intended to balance the management. Currently, this tool is used by many organizations in Brazil and the world, to suit both private companies and governmental organizations. The information extracted from the survey research data associated with the proposed methodology to work, can identify several situations considered critical strategic themes became later on strategic objectives, which served as reference for the formulation of the proposal strategy map and Balanced Scorecard model for the City Campus. Based on the studies it became clear that the ideal tool to be applied, by the way it has, by its flexibility and, above all because it is not only a measurement tool, but a management system that includes all processes administration, which makes the organizational strategies strategies for all. The application of the proposed Balanced Scorecard Hall on the University Campus will strengthen services so make them faster and more dynamic. This proposal becomes more evident and necessary since the City is undergoing a transition, or, will be transformed into Dean of Infrastructure. Such a change requires preparation and knowledge to meet the technical requirements and administrative policies that the industry requires
