Modelagem Organizacional: mapeando os processos da Coordenação de Compras do Departamento de Material da Universidade Federal do Amazonas com foco na Melhoria do Fluxo Administrativo

Abstract

The research consists of the analysis of the processes related to the activities of the Purchasing Coordination of the Department of Material of the Federal University of Amazonas. A case study in which infers that modern management techniques often used in private companies can contribute to improve performance in the administrative activities of a public organization. It makes a theoretical reference on public procurement, techniques used in business process modeling and improvement tools. It identifies, through the mapping and modeling of its organizational processes, the existing bottlenecks in the execution of the work. It presents at the end of the analysis suggestions for improvement to improve the administrative flow. For this study, data were collected through semi-structured interviews, direct observation and documentary analysis. Finally, the results point to actions that contribute to the optimization of the activities of the Purchasing Sector of the Material Department of the Federal University of Amazonas.
