Resumo
The research aimed to understand the labor relations of the network marketing of Grupo Hinode in Manaus, investigating the existing contradictions between commercial and labor relations. To achieve this goal, three dimensions were explored. The first seeks to understand the new work relations of flexible capitalism, in order to investigate the emergence of network marketing as a strategy for the accumulation and reproduction of precarious work. In this sense, the aspects that characterize flexible capitalism and how this new form of economic organization has impacted labor relations are analyzed. The second aims to understand the organization of the territory in networks and the expansion of networks as a strategy for capital accumulation and precarious work. It examines how the network structure of network marketing allows the expansion of businesses, the expansion of the consumer base and, consequently, the accumulation of capital. In addition, the implications of this expansion for precarious work are analyzed, considering the flexibility and lack of labor protections that often accompany this model. The third seeks to understand how the reproduction process of precarious work occurs through the network marketing of Grupo Hinode in Manaus, investigating the existing contradictions between commercial and labor relations. The mechanisms used by the Hinode Group to recruit, train and maintain its workforce are examined, as well as the remuneration and incentive strategies used, as well as the legal aspects and labor regulations pertinent to this type of activity. The analysis of the results seeks to identify the main contradictions between commercial and labor relations in the network marketing of Grupo Hinode in Manaus, as well as its implications for the workers involved in this business model. The results of this research demonstrate that the forms of precariousness of network marketing work consist of the omission of the subcontracting regime, whose supports are found in the commercial relationship established between company and consultant and in the discourse of entrepreneurship.
