Nós por nós: a performance na escola e o pensar sobre si

Resumo

“WE FOR US: Performance at school and thinking about oneself” is a report on a pedagogical experience of a performative creative process entitled CPF´S – Corpo Presente, Futuro Sera! (Body Present, Future Will Be) which investigated the feelings affected by the social paradigms in the space and time in which they live, carried out with 8th grade students at the Antônia Medeiros da Silva Municipal School in Manaus. The research aims to analyze the challenges and potentialities of the creative process in the classroom, which emerges as a performance, based on the experiences of students in the school environment and had as an epistemological basis the concepts and definitions of Theater of the Oppressed and Theater-Education proposing to observe the reverberations of this process in my teaching practice, in students and in the school setting. The project starts from memories that connect the teacher in this place and time of teaching and learning, with the student who went to this same school. The researcher's connection with this space, in the past and present, is organized as an autoethnographic writing methodology, with performance as a promoter in the construction of students' autonomy and being in the world. 40 students participated in this process, which enabled the conjecture of dialogic openings aimed at reflection on the perspectives of being an artist-teacher in public education in Manaus, as well as on what concerns its entire functioning foreseen in theory and its empirical functioning.
