A transferência de tecnologia nas universidades brasileiras sob a perspectiva da gestão de riscos

Resumo

The innovation indicators point to the need for promoting strategic improvements that are capable of fostering technology transfer and contributing to the country's innovation. The study aims to design a Model of Interaction between Risk Management and Technology Transfer. The research is classified as descriptive, qualitative in nature, and uses a single case study as its object of study. The data collection procedures include literature research, documentary research, prospective survey in patent databases, and techniques from ISO 31.010/2012 for risk identification, evaluation, and treatment. Supported by a Model of Interaction between Risk Management and Technology Transfer, it was possible to map the risks associated with the topic. The model contributed to the development of a systemic understanding of the factors that interfere with technology transfer. The results show that, in the context of UFAM (Federal University of Amazonas), the outdated Innovation Policy combined with the influence of internal and external factors jeopardize the achievement of strategic objectives. Another result indicates that technology transfer requires an improvement in the focus on the role of universities and their contribution to economic development, as well as the enhancement of interaction mechanisms. The study advanced the theme by surpassing the boundaries set in the university's strategic planning and providing a holistic view of the subject.
