Abstract

The main objective of this research is to raise questions about adolescent elementary school students, their conception of themselves, their interaction with the school and their community. To do so, we recall works carried out in previous years using the optical art style, which served as a basis for developing its first traits and arriving at more specific activities through the aesthetic expressions. Such questions were defined between the teacher and his pupils so that they can bring us, through their drawings, their worldview, their doubts and expectations, what they hope, through the school and the teaching and learning process, to find in a not so distant future. Furthermore, we analyze the historical aspect of Arts in Education and how both relate to each other, in addition to the interdisciplinary role with other school components and the cognitive action in student learning.
