Solução de evidenciação dos problemas de acessibilidade nas calçadas de Manaus centrado no usuário com deficiência motora

Abstract

The accessibility barriers present on public sidewalks in Manaus constitute a problem that limits the circulation of passers-by, especially users with physical disabilities who depend on their full conditions. In this context, we seek to know how the User-Centered Design approach can be applied to the development of mediation solutions between civil society and public authorities, with a view to improving the experience of users of sidewalks in Manaus. Faced with this problem, the main objective of this work is to develop a tool for reporting accessibility issues on public sidewalks in Manaus to Organs responsible bodies according to the User-Centered Design approach with physical disabilities. For this, it makes use of a bibliographic survey on topics such as the socioeconomic profile of people with physical disabilities, the levels of accessibility present on the sidewalks, the history of accessibility and inclusion, the Accessible Design, the norms for the protection of accessibility and the User-Centered Design approach. The interview with specialists brings a technical look at the ways in which the problems are solved today by Organs responsible bodies. The collection with potential users provides input on how they face these problems, how familiar they are with the complaint process and how their mental model would be resolved. In the projective stage, an application is developed to highlight problems in public sidewalks according to the User Experience Design methodology, from the strategy definition phase to high-fidelity visual prototyping. The validation of the prototype with representatives of the target audience points out that most users rated the application under development as useful, satisfactory and easy to use, indicating its potential social and technological value.
