Resumo
Environmental perception is a mental activity of interaction of the individual with the
environment, which can be defined as an awareness of the environment by the human being. Based on the thought of Systemic Complexity that tells us that we can not know the whole without understanding the parts that compose it, the research had as its general objective to propose a guidance guide for the construction of the Pedagogical Trail as a didactic resource on the use of water and environmental perception of the students of the basic network of a public school in the city of Tabatinga-Am. As specific objectives we sought to know the environmental perception of the students of Elementary School II of the Pedro Teixeira State School; to identify the access and use of water in the daily life of the students of Elementary School II and to build mental maps with the students about the familiar environment and the use of water. The methodological approach used was the case study of Robert Yin which is a strategy to examine contemporary events, presenting the capacity to deal with a wide variety of evidences. The results of the research showed that the students are aware of the environmental problems but, it has been observed that often they fail to take the right attitude not because of lack of knowledge but because it is easier to remain in the everyday situation. With the data obtained in the research, a pedagogical product called Trilha was elaborated and a Guidance Guide for the construction of the pedagogical trail as didactic resource based on the environmental perception and water use of the students of the basic network of a public school in the city of Tabatinga - AM.
