O significado do devir à denúncia de mulheres vítimas de violência sexual à luz da fenomenologia de Merleau-Ponty

Abstract

Contemporary life has been characterized, by the trivialization of the media, by an exacerbation of violence against women. Among them, sexual violence by their partner or spouse has grown alarmingly in recent years. Faced with a situation of this nature, the woman who suffers this type of violence recourse to the judiciary in the sense of having her physical and psychological integrity maintained. In the light of the Merleau-Ponty Phenomenology, it became imperative to understand the meaning of the denunciation of women victims of sexual violence in the city of Manaus. The methodology used was the field research from the phenomenological method of research in Psychology created by Giorgi & Souza (2010). The results followed the qualitative-descritt bias assumptions, in which seven (07) women victims of sexual violence, from the city of Manaus, participated in the denunciation of their respective violence experienced at some point in their lives, at a police or police station institutional framework. Interviews were conducted that started with the following guiding question: I would like you to tell me how it was for you the moment you reported the violence you suffered, what you thought, what you felt? The need to understand the pluridimensionality of the denunciation of sexual violence against women and its consequences was welcomed.
