O trabalho do assistente social como perito judicial no Núcleo de Apoio aos Juizados Especiais Federais do Amazonas: trajetória, desafios e perspectivas

Abstract

This dissertation is the product of the study on the Work of Social Assistants in Socio-Legal in Amazonas, carried out through research with Social Assistants who work as Judicial Experts in the Special Federal Court of Amazonas (JEF-AM), having as its locus the JEF Coordination Support Center (NUCOD). The study sought to discuss the dynamics that the professional category assumes in the different socio-legal occupational spaces in light of the new morphology of work and its repercussions on the working class. To this end, understanding the movement of changes in the world of work was directed to the work of Social Workers in the Judiciary, aiming to understand the possibilities and difficulties of the work of Social Workers in the sphere of Federal Justice. Thus, the general objective of the study was to analyze the particularities of the conditions, relationships and instrumentality of the Social Worker's work as a Judicial Expert at the Support Center for the Coordination of Federal Courts of Amazonas (JEF-AM) to reveal the trajectory, challenges and perspectives of an action directed by the political ethical project of Social Service. And the specific objectives of the study were delimited as follows: 1) Identify the profile of Social Workers who work as Social Experts at JEF-AM; 2) Survey the main institutional demands placed on the work of these professionals today; 3) Characterize the singularities of the work instruments of the Social Worker who works as a Judicial Expert at JEF-AM; 4) Unveil the working conditions and relationships of Social Workers experienced in this socio-occupational space. In relation to methodological procedures, the research was developed through bibliographic, documentary and field research. Specifically in field research, the approach used was a mixed approach, combining qualitative and quantitative data. Therefore, it is noteworthy that an online questionnaire was applied and semi-structured interviews were also carried out with the professionals who agreed to participate in this research. As main results, the study presents the analysis of the profile of these professionals, the identification of professional demands, the characterization of the instruments and work products of the social worker in this socio-occupational space, pointing to the process of precarious work of these professionals today.
