Espacialização do crime ambiental de poluição sonora na área urbana de Manaus – AM

Abstract

This study aims to present the spacelization of the occurrences of noise pollution in the urban area of Manaus-AM from 2004 to 2008, using for such data provided by the Ministério Público do Amazonas and by the Vara Especializada do Meio Ambiente e Questões Agrárias. It is also proposed to verify the existence of relations between the spatial distribution of these events and indicators of human development, exposing analyzes to a better understanding of the characteristics, causes and effects on society. The results point to an increasing noise pollution between environmental crimes present in the study area and identifies its wide dissemination in all administrative areas of the city, pointing to the worsening problem in the short term.
