Resumo
This work refers to the musical knowledge and practices seized by Mr. Rosario on the violin musical instrument. For his knowledge construction, I work on ideas of lines, knots and knits in Mr. Rosario and the violin itself trajectories. Thus, the lines appear in the people of Mr. Rosario and the violin in the traffics crossed by both. Knots are the places where knowledge was acquired: the dancing parties, Pastorinhas and the Elderly Club. I apply the term lines coating related to the situations which constituted Mr. Rosario’s initial musical organizational forms. The knit is the result of Mr. Rosario’s musical construction throughout his knowledge accumulation, the result between lines and knots connections. I approach on four levels of musical learning, where these levels happen concomitantly to some stages as imitation, improvisation and corporality. The present work also allowed the observation of local construction forms where tradition and modernity are confronted in the manifestations of the Pastorinhas. Matters related to the musical practices and also related to the social domain, such as the presence of external agents such as radio, the woman’s presence, Mr. Rosario’s house construction and performance were also approached in the work.
