Resumo
In industries, the most relevant decisions are related to issues concerning the production process, such as planning and production control, process time, quality control and production costs accounting. For decision-making in areas related to production, there is need for detailed analysis of the elements from the industrial processes, they are usually considered complex by scholars during the graduation of production engineering. there are many studies on disability in the academic training of professionals from various fields of knowledge. In his study of teaching and learning strategies, Bordenave & Pereira (2008), commenting on the shortcomings at graduation, considering aspects related to the professor, the curriculum, methods, facilities and teaching materials, students, the ways learning assessment and institutional conditions that affect learning. Regards the methods, the authors cited comment on the overuse of the lecture, with really low participation of students. The use of games, while business simulation, education is opposed to the traditional method of teaching, because it is an exercise of sequential decision making, within a structured model of corporate knowledge, in which participants are engaged. based on the context of the importance that represents the understanding of issues related to production systems, and the technique of business games as tool facilitating the learning of these issues, the game of the boat proposed by pantaleon et al. (2003) consists in a simple artefact, but still doens´t show enough parameters of a substance management analysis of the productive scenario like an instructional sequence for explaining the concepts related to production, costs and quality. this study is the adaptation of an existing game, the game of the boat, the proposing is include parameters related to quality, productivity and costs in a manner that facilitates the learning of these concepts in the graduation in production engineering. it is important mention that the approach chosen for cost is quite simple, just to be able to apply the game to beginners and graduating from the undergraduate degree in production engineering. the survey is classified as applied, since it is the proposal and use of a game assistant for learning concepts related to production, quality and costs in the graduation of production engineering. from the standpoint of its objectives, it is a descriptive, since it seeks to describe a new action game for the boat and may also establish correlations between variables and define its nature. proposal in the game are three scenarios, as well as one script for the game, rules and monitoring sheets to record results during its application. we tried to represent with the proposed game simulation is the reality of a production process to make paper boats situations arising in the game, capable of comparisons with real cases.
