Gender violence during the pandemic of the new coronavirus and the fight for the right to live is a reflection of the complex and contradictory process that is the social relations of gender. In which it corresponds to a structural violence, based on patriarchy whose system of oppression domination is based on hierarchy, inequality and discrimination. During the pandemic of the new coronavirus, it was highlighted that the cases of femicide in the country increased by 5% compared to the same period in 2019. The objective of this project was to analyze the measures adopted by the State of Amazonas to face gender violence in the city of Manaus in the period of the new coronavirus pandemic. This project was anchored in the historical-dialectical materialism that presupposes analyzing reality and explaining the evolution of matter, nature and man himself, making it possible to analyze violence as a striking feature since the formation of Brazilian society until the current period with the influence of the neoconservatism and its predominance in the state apparatus. As well as, using the quantitative-qualitative approach, a sample was obtained from two (2) bodies acting in the fight against gender violence: the 2nd Specialized Court in Combating Domestic and Family Violence Against Women and the police station specialized in assisting women; one (1) organization of social movements active in the fight against gender violence during the pandemic period, the Permanent Forum of Women of Manaus. The results obtained were the evidence that gender violence is based on Brazilian society, recognizing that it has intrinsic bonds based on patriarchal logic, on the capitalist and sexist system in which it has always been present surrounding the reality of women as a social being, as a historical subject and that its particularities give rise to violence in different socio-historical contexts and that are perpetuated today and which unfortunately will still be a perspective of continuous struggle. The covid-19 pandemic demystified, unveiled these inequalities that were invisible and metamorphosed into the naturalization of social inequalities experienced by the working class, identified social, economic and especially political ruptures in their society that were no longer possible to camouflage them. Consequently, the enormous rupture of regional recognition is characterized. This materialization of violence against women is one of the faces of the government with strong neo-fascist traits, which reinforces its repressive power through necropolitics, naturalizing the family environment as a field of power conflicts. But the data referring to violence against women identified weaknesses from alterations and serious errors in the reporting of complaints and in the registration of cases whose data are crucial to constitute public policies and show improvements to be made. Demonstrating unpreparedness and lack of commitment to the population by presenting unrealistic data, being at this moment the direct action of social movements when there was a lack of responsibility on the part of the state in closing the doors.
