Práticas inovadoras de gestão do design para micro e pequenas empresas

Resumo

Annually, several micro and small businesses emerge to compete in a dynamic scenario that requires new strategies to maintain their market survival. In this context, being competitive with a focus on innovation becomes an important requirement. Design management can contribute to the survival of these companies. However, there is no recipe formed or a standard model for how it can be applied, especially when it comes to small businesses. The guiding question of the research is to know how design can contribute to innovative Design Management practices to help Micro and Small Businesses to plan strategic actions to differentiate themselves in their market. The objective of the research is to relate good design practices to be applied at a strategic level, to improve the competitive performance of a Micro and Small Enterprise. Through a Systematic Literature Review, following the scientific method of Data Mining presented by Blum, Merino, and Merino (2016), eight articles were selected with proposals for strategies for innovation promoted by design from the last fourteen years and analyzed in greater depth. In the end, based on the authors, Design Practices for Innovation Model is proposed, formed by patterns of knowledge of good practices to be integrated at the strategic level, to lead a manager to create his strategy for his company. Validation of the proposal was carried out through a Case Study with a professional equipment maintenance service micro-company.
