Resumo
The rail transport appeared in 1825, two centuries ago, initially in England and later on in another portions of the globe, besides in Brazil. In the middle of century XXI, the rail transport is considered as the most efficient means of transportation to transport loads for long you distance to lower prices. Brazil for possessing continental extensions and for being inserted in the globalization process has most of the production gone back to the external market. The disposal of the production travels big it distances whose main transport form and accomplished by the truck, that is to say, the modal road, which cost the final price of the product, removing its competitiveness in the external market. The mesh rail Brazilian possesses now about twenty-nine thousand (29.000) km of extension and this in full
expansion phase. The existent mesh concentrates close to the Brazilian coast not assisting the producing centers located inside the Brazilian territory. The construction of a railroad
generates varied environmental impacts. Those impacts affect the atmosphere in several ways so much the physical, biological aspects and socioeconomic. To present research it tried to deepen the knowledge inside on the rail construction of the modal and its impacts socioeconomic of the area of it influences of the project. The study object adopted in subject corresponds railroad South North, project proposed by the Federal and built Government it goes up regime of Partnership I Publish Private (PPP), to be explored it goes up concession regime. The focal area of the study corresponds the area of it influences of the project being them the territory of the municipal districts of Hills of Tocantins considered Area of it Influences Insinuation (AII) and Palmeirante Area of it Influences Direct (AID). The objective and to analyze the evaluation of the impacts environmental socioeconomic accomplished by the Study of Environmental Impact (EIA-RIMA/FNS)
