A cadeia produtiva do guaraná: um estudo com o guaraná no município de Maués

Abstract

This study sought to explain how popular knowledge accumulated along the use centuries of the existing medicinal plants in Amazon, the scientific and installed technological capacity, the scientific knowledge of the biodiversity made available in the universities and in the research centers of the region represent important factors for Amazon's development and will be able to contribute to enlarge the economic exploration of the existing natural resources, in this case, the guaraná based on geared public politics to the economic and regional social development of sustainable form. The main goal was to propose options for the biodiversity utilization, using the biotechnology, with intuit to contribute in the transformation of the socioeconomics profile of the State, having for base a case study of phytotherapics derivative production chain of the guaraná, in the region of the Municipal district of Maués. It was used the bibliographical research and on the field, with approach qualiquantitative. Having obtained as results that the future of phytoindustry in the Amazon conditioned to the performance of her activities in harmony with for sustentability environmental, greeting of the legislation, interaction with the inhabitants of the Amazon region and with for institutional infrastructure. But it depends, above all, of aspects mercadologics, organizacionals, productive, financial and human resources, and of research and technological development.
