Resumo
This study analyses the policies of continuous training materialized in the Centro de Formação Permanente do Magistério, in the period of 2000 to 2006. It was chosen as starting point the focus of who establishes and implements such policies. In that period the CFPM passed through administrative restructuring that reveal changes in classifications of which emerge new directions for public policies of continuous formation. Accordingly, the study is divided into three chapters which are formed through the issues that conduct this search, which articulated the goals, guiding the process of research. Thus, these chapters respond to the following questions: What is the historic materiality of the public policy of continuous training teaching? What the academic prospects and practices of the public policies to continuous formation implemented at the CFPM? What are the contradictions, implicit and explicit, of the policies of continuous formation implemented at the CFPM?
