Educação ambiental na formação dos discentes de pedagogia da FACED-UFAM: perspectivas em diálogo com o ser e o fazer “ecoativo”

Resumo

The environment and its transformations have become part of the main topics discussed in contemporary times, as well as environmentalist approaches and associated with these themes, Environmental Education. This research addresses the theme of Environmental Education in the Training of Pedagogy Students from FACED-UFAM: Perspectives in dialogue with the Being and Doing "EcoActive". It had as a general objective to analyze how Environmental Education has been understood and integrated in the Formation of Pedagogy students, relating it to the purposes of Being and Doing "EcoActive". It was guided by three specific objectives: 1) To identify the conception that the students have about the environmental education theme; 2) To identify how the environmental education theme is integrated in the pedagogical formation of the pedagogy students; 3) To analyze the relation between the conceptions, the way of integration of the environmental education in the formation process of the pedagogy students with the purposes of the "EcoActive" Being and Doing. The methodology used as to the nature is a basic research, interpretative paradigm with a qualitative approach. Field research, using a questionnaire for data collection and document analysis. The method used is dialectical hermeneutic, following Habermas' moments. The research was conducted via Google Meet, because the classes in this period were being held remotely, due to the pandemic situation of COVID 19 and followed all the guidelines of the legislation in force. As a collection instrument, an open questionnaire via Google Forms was used. The participating subjects were students of the subject environmental education from semesters 2021.2 and 2022.1, aged between 20 and 24 years, mostly females. The documental analysis was performed by Environmental Education Laws and documents from UFAM and the Pedagogy course from FACED (PPCs and PEs) used by the teachers of the subject. The analysis of the data obtained from the speech of the students participating in the research was articulated considering the emerging categories in each section evaluated. The results show that the students' conception of environmental education is quite simplistic and naturalistic. In relation to the form of integration in the Pedagogy course, the students did not demonstrate sufficient knowledge about the laws, programs and pedagogical plans, evidencing a need for learning and a sense of belonging in the FACED-UFAM. The documents analyzed determine that environmental education should be offered in a transversal way. There are recommendations for teaching, appreciation and development of attitudes, but without specific methodologies to achieve them. The proposal for dialogue with the philosophical basis of Being and Doing "EcoActive" is an alternative to improve the quality of teaching-training of Environmental Education in order to offer dynamism to the course of Pedagogy of FACED-UFAM which consolidates its performance through teaching, research and extension.
