Resumo

This study aimed the understanding of the production of subjective sense assigned to the risk from the speech of young people that have egressed from socio-educational context of imprisonment in the city of Manaus. As complementary objectives, it aimed to identify the specific aspects of the lives of the participants in this research who are perceived as risky; to identify the subjective meanings assigned to the risks for young people investigated; understand the process of construction of these senses, according to the understanding of the research participants. It was adopted a theoretical framework of socio-historical psychology and as proposal of methodology, an approach qualitative and exploratory in the case studied. The study investigated two young egress of educational approach in imprisonment, linked to a project that followed this public, developed by the Federal University of Amazonas. For the development of the information we chose to make an interview, and for the investigation of the same assumed the perspective of the Grounded Theory. From the method adopted, two hypotheses were generated, which showed predominantly for: (1) senses linked to risk of physical injury and (2) senses of risk linked to neglection of the relationships of care. We conclude, therefore, that the senses are produced from the social contexts in which each subject lives, but are singular in the experience of each person. Thus, the risk takes a singular dimension, although connected with the objective reality, which is subjectivized by the person that attributes it its meaning.
