Resumo
This study examines the operation of the Supervised of Social Work course at the Federal
University of Amazonas - UFAM the period 2010 to 2013 investigated the probation
supervision process by teachers and professionals from institutions that carry out supervision
and the organization of training activities developed in the training field and, finally, how are
operationalized the duties of actors in the supervised training, which are: the Internship
Coordinator, educational supervisors and field and the trainee. The research subjects are the
actors involved in the training process supervised in Social Work UFAM interviewed over a
period of four months in the city of Manaus. The survey took the perspective of qualitative
approaches without excluding the quantitative aspects, using an interview script directed the
research subjects, beyond the stage reports supervised the students UFAM as research
sources. The study found that stage, in view of the subject remains a privileged space of
articulation between education and professional practice, theory and practice unit. However,
one of the problems highlighted in this study is in preparation and carrying out of the
activities of planning the training field aggravated by the difficulty of operationalizing the
theoretical course content inherent in professional action. It was also found that among the
challenges of supervision is to socialize the Internship Policy of Social Work Course UFAM,
Law Stage and the National Stage Policy - NEP of the Brazilian Association of Education and
Research in Social Work - ABEPSS in the process stage to the materialization of the
parameters and guidelines proposed in these documents. That challenge focuses on the clarity
of the roles that education supervisor, field and the trainee exercise and are regulated in the
documents. Without proper clarity the internship experience can become disjointed,
impoverished and distant knowledge of the purposes set out in the curriculum guidelines
ABEPSS and pedagogical project of the course Social UFAM service. According to this
study, supervised training is considered essential in training and requires unity between the
theoretical and practical dimension and teaching supervisors and field in a working
partnership and coordinated in order to meet strategies for the stage meets its purpose in the
training process.
