Resumo

The present research seeks to analyze the experiences and experiences of reading of the subjects located in the city of Manaus. The group was structured according to the following inclusion criteria: to participate (or to participate) in the reading incentive projects, to be in the first three places referring to the entrance exams (by grade or course) and to be part of teaching intuitions recognized by the performance in official assessments of both basic education and higher education. This work is based on the assumption that the subject positions would reveal displacements, transformations and / or obstacles to the achievement of the reading habit. Data collection was done according to the methodological method of Oral Thematic History. In view of this, the production of the corpus is initially composed of ten interviews conducted in 2016 and 2017. The interviewees were students, alumni, teachers and writers. As for the organization and analysis of the data, I used the analytical device of the materialistic discursive perspective. For this reason, the corpus of the research becomes composed of discursive cuts, coming from the interviews that were transcribed and textualized. The Analysis of Materialist Discourse, related to the analytical aspect, focuses on the description and interpretation of discourses. In this case, it is the sayings of the interviewed subjects who pass through the description and interpretation, in order to analyze their effects of meaning and then to map the discursive formations and positions of subject.
