Resumo

This dissertation carried out a study of the apurinã landslides in the village of Terra Nova through ethnography to reflect not only on many aspects surrounding this theme, the knowledge of the ancients, the time of myths, the historical decline in the Purus river, social organizations and technologies , as well as the life experiences of the group. This aspect is of fundamental importance, in the beginning it is necessary to delimit the research in the family group of Osvaldo, leadership of the village Terra Nova, whose life trajectory involves the region of the lower Purus in the TI Itixi Mitari, from which information about the universe can be extracted apurinã. Based on the animist theory, the present work has dialogued with ethnographic research that approaches the theme of Phellipe Descola its guide, from that, the proposal was drawn from a particular speech, bearer of the group understanding, because it is linked to the structure of social organization conceived by the apurinã people in the plural sense
