Lugar de mulher: a participação da indígena nos movimentos feministas e indígenas do estado do Amazonas

Abstract

The purpose of this study is understanding and narrating the position, conditions and forms of participation of indigenous women in the indigenous and feminist movements in the State of Amazonas. The proposal is formulated as a trip problematizing ideas on a thought about indigenous women and the Amazônia, which comes from a living-listening laboratory with Indians, in multiple activisms in the organizations of the indigenous movement, indigenous women. These manifestations have been observed in governmental and nongovernmental instances, in social movements. Traveling is moving around. Getting a starting point and designing arrival points means , arriving in preferably. The road map is born out of theoretical agreements in permanent operation of construction and abandonment of instruments. It is a landscape on the way of searching for and with the native women in Manaus city, São Gabriel da Cachoeira, Tabatinga, Benjamin Constant and Autazes, some "chosen" towns by the mapping of women leaders. Understanding indigenous participatory processes in indigenous and feminist movements implies: inferring valuation from the status of human comprehension as a driver of individual / collective action, and an emerging theme of globalized world whose effect is local; To transpose in an essentially interdisciplinary theoretical-methodological approach that allows to follow, not to shape, women's movements, their perceptions on feminism, political-affective relations with indigenous, male leaders, the impacts of activism on indigenous women daily life; the intertwining among politics and indigenous cosmologies. On the way back to the first port, this study opens in a broader tapping around the factors that place indigenous women in political participation, in the elaboration of internal and external strategies for the conquest of power space, in the management of complex communication networks and in the unveiling of conflicts and ideas of women from Amazônia in continuous and daily struggles.
