Um estudo intercultural sobre sentidos de feminilidades no bairro de Puraquequara/AM

Abstract

This study sicks understand the meanings of femininitys from a cross-cultural study in Puraquequara neighborhood in the city of Manaus / AM. I had as a general objective: to understand the femininity of meanings produced by the residents of the neighborhood Puraquequara and analyze how interculturalism contributes to construction of sense and specifically: Identify the femininity of meanings built by the residents; Understanding how femininities are experienced and structured by the local culture; Analyze intercultural aspects in the local femininities construction. With this, the choice of site survey is due to the intense cultural process that the Amazon region has passed, which set up a multicultural society, directly influencing the natural production of femininity senses. He sought to build a thought about the meanings and cultural and intercultural aspects presented, always looking at the context that the woman was inserted. I bring this work the mark of social practices, historical, cultural and struggle that women have experienced and experience in Puraquequara neighborhood. However, I emphasize that the buildings are not linear, are timeless and are reconfigured from the time the woman is part of a social or cultural group. In this way, move away from a uniform perspective, universalizing or binary constitution of subjects. To reflect on the above aspects, I have relied on the Historical-Cultural perspective developed by Lev Vygotsky, which comprises the subject as a historical being, social and cultural, which builds and is built by relationships a relational being. The methodology used in the research is based on life stories of five women. six interviews were conducted, but for analysis were five used by the empirical saturation criterion. Data were analyzed from the identification of Significance Cores, a technique proposed by Aguiar and Ozella (2001). We use the language as the main tool for understanding the meaning of the interviewees production. The meanings produced about femininity involve a complex process and timeless, there is no linearity. They used his power agency to empoderarem front of the cultural contexts marked by a lack of access and structuring of neighborhood living.
