O estágio em Serviço Social entre ventanias e banzeiros: navegando de Manaus a Porto alegre

Resumo

The present research developed seeks to approach the reality of the supervised internship conducted in Manaus and Porto Alegre. The debate on this topic has become extremely necessary for the category every day, because in addition to the neoliberal attacks, we were also surprised by the Covid-19 pandemic, metaphorically signaled in the study, as the great storm. The pandemic brought unexpected changes in all spheres: social, economic, political, cultural and biological, with sudden changes in the dynamics of work and, consequently, in professional training, which impacted the supervised internship conducted by the HEIs by academic and field supervisors. , and experienced by interns and students, as well as in the concept of internship defended by the category. In view of this, the research carried out presents itself as a space for reflection and understanding of the direction of the stage traveled during the turbulent storm of the pandemic and the stage defended by the category. It is noteworthy that the present research is considered as one of the first interregional productions on internship between the north and south of our country, according to the state of the art survey carried out in the CAPES database in 2020, in addition to approach the object of study in Covid-19. The research had as main objective: to analyze the confluences and particularities of the conduction of the supervised internship in the professional formation in Social Work in Manaus and Porto Alegre. Bibliographic, documentary and field research were carried out. We used a mixed approach, that is, it was a qualitative-quantitative research, with an emphasis on qualitative, of an explanatory nature, guided by the critical-dialectical method. The research spaces were the Federal University of Amazonas and the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande Sul, both the oldest HEIs in Manaus and Porto Alegre, and the interview was applied to the UFAM internship coordinator and the technician responsible for the PUCRS internship, who exercised the function in the 1st semester of 2021. The primary materials for the documentary research were the Pedagogical Project of the Social Service Course and the Internship Policies of the IES, among other documents. The interview was conducted online, using the Google Meet platform, with the adoption of a semi-structured interview script. The data, both from documental and field research, passed through the Triviños triangulation technique. With the data collected, it was possible to identify that there is an effective link between the curricular guidelines and the pedagogical projects of the courses. Faced with the challenges imposed by the Covid-19 storm, the HEIs had to rethink the internship in new modalities, until then not thought of: the remote internship and, timidly, the hybrid model. Such modalities bring weaknesses, but they presented themselves as the only means for the continuity of the internship in an atypical moment of a pandemic, as reinforced by the subjects. The researched HEIs sought to make their decisions based on the decrees enacted, and at the same time innovating, with a lot of dialogue between the subjects of the internship triad, thus building this part of the history of social work in the pandemic, in an attempt to circumvent the storm . However, it is evident that the remote and hybrid modalities impose difficulties, more than educational, but physical, mental and social impacts on the subjects. Being understood as strategies of an exceptional emergency character, it is essential, after the end of the pandemic, to return to the in-person internship, although we know that its impacts will be profound to the internship.
