Encontros: haicai e haicaístas no Amazonas

Abstract

The object of study and general theme that is addressed in this Dissertation Recontre: haicai and haiku poet from the Amazon is the haiku. It contains a compilation of poets and their respective poetic productions around Japanese poetry. To complement the research, an analysis and comparison of the creative procedure of some haicai produced and written in the Amazon with traditional Japanese haiku was carried out. As well as the comparison between haicai composed by Amazonian and immigrant haiku. In view of this, we are guided by the following questions: what is the main motivation of poets in the Amazon in relation to the approximation and production of Japanese poetry called haiku? What did haiku, through the creative process in the region, add to the conception of poets in Amazonian soil? In this sense, the objective is to investigate the scriptures and haiku writers in the Amazon, Brazilian or not, from the perspective of the specificity of Japanese poetry, identifying the significant and relevant traits that are established in the creation and intertextuality in the final product of the amazonian haicai. The result was a compilation of poets and poetic texts produced in the Amazon, still few known nationally. Therefore, it is also intended, through this dissertation, to contribute to a greater dissemination and interweaving of Japanese poetry in the Amazon.
