Resumo
This work is the result of observations and experiences acquired in the classroom, which led to questions about the possibilities of learning and creation through technology, folklore, and Art. In this sense, the research aims to explore the creativity of Elementary School students – Upper Years – through artistic practices related to the production of animations about Amazonian folklore legends. By observing the creative processes, involving technological tools present in mobile devices, such as the FlipaClip app, and Amazonian folklore legends, we seek alignment with the research line: teaching, learning, and creation processes in Arts. The methodology used in this research is based on a/r/tography as a living practice closely linked to arts and education (Irwin, 2013). Initially, we address the relevant content to the context of the practice to be applied, such as: the art in motion that refers to the emergence of animation and the conscious use of technology through mobile devices; and the Amazonian folklore legends as traditional narratives that carry specific aspects of our region’s culture. Regarding the process, we divided it into three stages: Pre-Production, which refers to the explanation of the initial elements that will compose the work; Production, in which the practice of the knowledge acquired during the classes and the creative processes through the construction of the animations will be observed; and Post-Production, where we will discuss the results and findings of the research. Among the theorists referenced in this study are: Barbosa (1998, 2022), Ferraz and Fusari (2001, 2009), Irwin (2008, 2013), Dias (2013), Rey (1996), Tornaghi (2010), Santos (2016), Magalhães (2015), Fonseca (2021), and the references from the National Common Curricular Base (BRASIL, 2018), which contributed to the scientific foundation of the entire knowledge process. Thus, based on the experiences gained in the face of the Amazonian challenges encountered along the way, we clearly perceive that practical activities that stimulate creativity, culture, and the integration of knowledge are a vibrant strategy for developing content, as well as the possibility of using technology consciously to apply the same.
