Análise do livro didático de ciência natural de escolas públicas do Sul do Amazonas: um olhar sobre conteúdos de ciência do solo

Resumo

Analysis of natural science textbooks from public schools in southern Amazonas from a perspective of soil science content. The research was carried out using a qualitative and quantitative exploratory research methodology, based on the analysis of textbooks, supported by several theoretical frameworks, verifying gaps in soil content, presenting crucial information to support the arguments raised in this investigation and elucidate the soil content addressed in Elementary School II Textbooks. The conceptual assumptions were decisive in examining the content of the textbooks, involving the municipalities of Humaitá, Manicoré, Novo Aripuanã, Apuí and Borba. The analyses were made in the Natural Sciences textbooks. The themes prioritize practical activities on soil use, conservation and degradation. During the research, five textbooks were examined, specifically from each municipality, from public schools. During this period, we had the opportunity to talk to the education secretaries of the aforementioned municipalities, where they presented themselves in a helpful manner, and we forwarded them to the pedagogical team responsible for acquiring the textbooks. However, the content on soil meets the perspectives, future expansion and understanding of diverse content that can contribute significantly as a pedagogical and educational tool for improving textbooks that can contribute and further enrich our environmental education in the knowledge about soil in the South of Amazonas. Therefore, it is important that there is continuous review and attention to ensure that the content is covered in a comprehensive and in-depth manner, providing students with a solid and complete understanding of this important aspect of the environment.
