A escola como espaço de (in) coerências: a prática da educação ambiental para formação de sociedades sustentáveis em duas escolas do município de Manaus

Abstract

The dream to dominate the nature starts, effectively, when the man obtains to domesticate plants and animals. This if gave in the Neolithic Period, also known Revolution Neolithic. The relation between nature and man took this last one to more intervene each time with the environment. This interference in the natural processes, has contributed and accelerated the deconstruction of the natural system of the life. Therefore, the degradation of the environment is subject for discussion and responsibility of all society. Mainly in the school, responsible for the formation critical and conscientious citizens of whom its participation in this global challenge and of basic importance in the search of the sustainable society. Hence, this work had for base to make an analysis of the (in)coherency of the practical of environmental education in confrontation with the current law in two schools of the city of Manaus. The qualitative method was used and the covered way was based on the Etnografia, in the involved social actors in the research, the iconography and the file of the schools. On the basis of these data, were collated with the National Politics of environmental education (PNEA), with the State Program of Education of Amazon (PEA- AM) and the theories that deal with the Ambient Education and Sustainable Societies. The study sample that exactly after more than one decade of instituted the National Politics of Ambient Education, part of teachers, pedagogues and students was ignored totally what refers this law.
