A educomunicação e a canção regional: uma possibilidade na educação musical

Abstract

This research addresses educommunication within the school as an educational tool. Developed from journalism with 8th and 9th grade students from the Olga Falcone State School, located in Manaus - Amazonas. The proposal is to develop a documentary with a group of students, participants of the Olga Falcone TV project, about a regional song. The musical work chosen as the theme was the iconic Porto de Lenha by Aldísio Filgueiras and Zeca Torres. During the development of this research, we sought theoretical foundations in literature related to educommunication and the use of technologies applied to education. As well as the documentary genre and the DBR methodology, Design Based Research, in order to verify the process of creating a film, in which students could develop each stage of production. In this sense, the student-journalists participating in this research have, as a final product, a video record of the stories and contexts, as well as an interview with Zeca Torres, about the song and the whole atmosphere that resulted in its popularity in the city of Manaus. The documentary will be available on the Olga Falcone TV page (Youtube), for wide access to the public.
