Patrimônios históricos na Amazônia: História, memória, turismo e preservação

Abstract

This work brings an approach on the Historical Heritage in Amazonia in two case studies (Communications Museum - Ji-Paraná - RO and Adolpho Lisboa municipal market - Manaus - AM). Through bibliographic, documentary and field observations with semi-structured interviews. With the initial aim of presenting: what is heritage, and what becomes Historical Heritage its origin in international history and in Brazil imbricated with the IPHAN and what is tipping, this information allows to understand the patrimonies that are object of this study. To understand the importance of the museum of communications, the historical and social context of the Rondon commission and its main character Rondon, indissociable from the history of the Museum, the city and the state of Rondônia, were discussed. The municipal market Adolpho Lisboa the approach seeks to contextualize in the course of the civilizing process the hygiene and 1st cycle of rubber in Manaus and the administration of Adolpho Lisboa; contextualize in another time, the public space, work, leisure and tourism. Historical heritages are extremely important in shaping the identity of a people. But what monuments heritage are symbols that represent and highlight social processes, the construction of identities and collective memory. When analyzing in the research the knowledge of the community about the patrimony saw how the patrimonial education still needs to advance and the importance of the tourism in the maintenance and preservation of the patrimony. By bringing a historical and contextualized approach within its historical times, the research seeks to correlate historical facts and heritage presenting its sociohistorical, socio-cultural and socioeconomic importance in a systemic view, in an entanglement of history and society.
