Resumo
The research had the objective of analyzing the family agriculture pattern developed by the family farmers in a flooding bank ecosystem in the eastern Amazonas and its interaction with the market economy. More necessarily relating to the activity of vegetable in suspended flowerbed. Family agriculture is an economical-productive activity which fundamental characteristics are: the use of intensive familiar labor, handling of small areas and the stimulus for the eating security on the family. The research has realized in Nossa Senhora de Nazaré community, located in Paraná do Limão de Baixo in Parintins municipality. The field diagnosis has based on thematic surveys, organized on the systemic approach and interdisciplinary strategy of action in case studies, aimed at the complex and emergent reality of extract industry, agriculture and farm activities in the region. It has established that at present the income generation of families are obtained from a set of activities which includes the vegetable production activity in suspended flowerbed, mixed cattle rearing, little animal rearing and fishing. Productive economical combination of vegetable-farm system has shown quite advantageous for the farmers, so it promotes income all year long for the families, apart from presenting less damaging for the environment. The efficient management of natural resources applied in the family productive activities run for the effective practice of sustainable development principles with the present generation treatment and the resource preservations for the future generations.
